verifyManifestSignature(

Single-key convenience over verifyManifestSignatures: true when publicKey validates the
legacy info.signature or any entry of info.signatures. Returns a boolean and never throws on a bad
signature — the caller decides whether an unverified manifest is fatal. (Malformed keys still throw.)
